DARcorporation was involved in the aerodynamic and Structural Design and Analysis of the Chance Morgan Windwheel™, which is Patent Pending. Finite Element Analysis (FEA) was performed to show the maximum deflection of the Windwheel. Several structural trade studies were carried out to meet the IEC standards. The aerodynamic loads were obtained by Blade Element Momentum (BEM) methods and IEC standards were used to generate the structural load cases.
