DARcorporation engineers had just three weeks to design, build and deliver an engineering cut-away mockup of the Samson Motorworks Switchblade to Oshkosh Wisconsin for Air Venture 2009! The Switchblade mockup included a fully functional wing folding mechanism operated by electrical motors and controllers that determined the speed and direction of the folding wings. A working instrument panel controlled the wings and locking mechanisms.
